Pasir Gudang:Johor Four areas in Johor and Sarawak reported unhealthy Air Pollutant Index (API) readings as of 6 pm today.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the readings from the Department of Environment's Air Pollutant Index Management System (APIMS) showed Pasir Gudang with the highest API at 155, and Larkin at 152, both situated in Johor.
In Sarawak, the Serian District Police Headquarters station registered an API of 128, while Sri Aman recorded a reading of 112.
Meanwhile, 60 areas experienced moderate API levels. Three locations reported good air quality, with Taiping in Perak recording a reading of 49, Langkawi in Kedah at 41, and Kangar in Perlis at 32.
The API categorizes air quality with readings from zero to 50 as good, 51 to 100 as moderate, 101 to 200 as unhealthy, 201 to 300 as very unhealthy, and above 300 as hazardous.
