Chicago: Univar Solutions LLC (Univar Solutions) has recognised outstanding transportation providers across North America through its annual Carrier Awards, honouring companies for excellence in safety, service and supply chain performance.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the awards acknowledged carriers that demonstrated strong performance in areas such as safety, on-time delivery, responsiveness, capacity support, data connectivity, and overall customer experience.

Univar Solutions Vice President of Transportation, North America, Rob McRae highlighted the importance of reliable transportation in serving the company's customers and suppliers. He noted that this year's recipients showcased strong operational performance, effective communication, and practical solutions in a dynamic supply chain environment.

Furthermore, Travis Vedral, the Senior Director of Transportation, Systems and Strategies at Univar Solutions, emphasized that the award winners' commitment to safe operations, disciplined execution, and responsive service had enhanced the experience delivered to customers and suppliers.

The awards spanned key transportation categories, including regional, bulk, truckload, and less-than-truckload (LTL) services. Addison Transportation received the 2026 Most Valuable Partner (MVP) award for exceptional service, creative problem-solving, and dedication to partnership.

Other award recipients included Barto Trucking, which was named Connected Carrier of the Year, Southeastern Freight Lines for the Always On Time Award, Freehold Cartage as ChemCare East Region Carrier of the Year, Steve Forler as ChemCare West Region Carrier of the Year, Roar Logistics as ITS Carrier of the Year, Soobz Transport as Canada East Region Carrier of the Year, and T.E.A.M.S Transport as Canada West Region Carrier of the Year.

Additionally, Univar Solutions presented honourable mentions in the Superior Excellence in Service and Partnership and Excellence in Service and Partnership categories, recognizing carriers for their service excellence and strong partnerships.
