According to BERNAMA News Agency, questions concerning the Urban Renewal Bill, particularly regarding the government's assurance that no owners will be forcibly evicted from their land or premises, have been submitted by Tan Kar Hing (PH-Gopeng) to the Prime Minister during the Ministers' Question Time.
Muar member of parliament Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman is set to raise questions about proactive flood measures, focusing on areas frequently affected by floods and those at risk of future flooding.
During the question-and-answer session, Vivian Wong Shir Yee (PH-Sandakan) will inquire about the assistance schemes available for small and medium enterprises during the transition period of the new minimum wage implementation. Additionally, Hassan Abdul Karim (PH-Pasir Gudang) will question the government's plans to increase the minimum wage from the current RM1,700 to the national poverty level of RM2,208 per month.
Wong Shu Qi (PH-Kluang) is expected to question the Health Minister regarding the number of users registered at wellness hubs through the I Fit and Eat Right (IFitEr) Programme, as well as the construction costs and evaluation methods for the programme's effectiveness.
Following the session, the Finance Minister is scheduled to present the Supplementary Supply Bill (2024) 2025. This will be followed by the first reading of the Fire Services (Amendment) Bill 2025 by the Minister of Housing and Local Government.
The Dewan Rakyat proceedings will conclude with a winding-up session on the debate on the motion of thanks for the royal address by several ministries.
