Kuala lumpur: Urusharta Jamaah Sdn Bhd, a special purpose vehicle under the Ministry of Finance (MOF), has acquired three million ordinary shares of Solarvest Holdings Bhd, elevating its stake to 5.08 percent in the company.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the acquisition was completed on August 15, marking Urusharta Jamaah as a substantial shareholder in Solarvest. The announcement was made in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.

Solarvest is a regional clean energy company operating in eight countries. It has developed more than 2,000 megawatts of ongoing and completed solar projects, showcasing its significant presence in the renewable energy sector.
