Veteran Actor Nu’man Mohd Salleh Dies at 71

Kuala lumpur: Veteran actor Nu'man Mohd Salleh, widely recognized by his stage name Charlie, passed away today following a battle with stage four intestinal cancer. He was 71 years old. According to BERNAMA News Agency, Nu'man's brother, Yusri Salleh, confirmed that the actor died at his daughter's home in Sri Rampai at approximately 8.15 pm. Nu'man had been bedridden since Thursday and was taken to Kuala Lumpur Hospital, where his condition was confirmed to be intestinal cancer. He was admitted to the intensive care unit but was allowed to return home on Friday. His condition was critical, and he was unable to speak before his passing. Yusri also shared that funeral prayers for Nu'man would be held at Salahuddin Al-Ayubbi Taman Melati Mosque before the Zohor prayers tomorrow. Following the prayers, Nu'man will be laid to rest at the Raudhatul Sakinah Taman Selaseh Muslim Cemetery. Nu'man, who was a single father, is survived by his seven children.
