Singapore: Vistra has announced the appointment of Damian Leach as its Chief AI and Digital Officer, a pivotal new leadership role focused on accelerating the group's transformation into a digitally enabled, artificial intelligence-powered professional services organisation.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the appointment comes as clients face increasing regulatory complexity and rapid reshaping by AI, and the new role will focus on enhancing client experience, connectivity, and operational consistency across Vistra's global platform. Vistra's chief executive officer, Kim Jenkins, stated that the appointment marks a significant step in their strategy, building on established digital foundations to better connect clients with their portfolios across legal, accounting, tax, and people services.
Leach highlighted Vistra's unique positioning due to its global reach, deep regulatory expertise, and long-standing client trust. He aims to build high-performance strategic services, harmonize global operations, and develop global platforms to elevate the customer journey, thereby unlocking business value for clients and investors across the group.
Leach brings over two decades of experience in leading large-scale technology and digital change in highly regulated global organisations. His previous roles include leadership in banking technology and serving as the chief technology officer of a Fortune 500 SaaS provider. Most recently, he was the global chief investment officer at Seaco, where he led the modernization and scaling of enterprise technology capabilities, earning industry innovation awards.
As a Singaporean, Leach will be based at Vistra's global headquarters in Singapore, underscoring the region's significance to the group's future growth.
