Kuala selangor: An elderly man in a wheelchair was found drowned in Sungai Kampung Kuantan, Kuala Selangor, today, three days after he was reported missing after falling into the river.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Selangor Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) deputy director of operations Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar stated that the body of the 63-year-old man was discovered around 8.30 am by a member of the public near the Batu Tujuh Setengah jetty.

Ahmad Mukhlis reported that the victim was located 5.5 kilometers from where he is believed to have fallen. The incident was initially reported at 9.09 pm on April 3.

The body has been handed over to the police for further investigation.
