Kuala lumpur: Metal fabrication and workspace solutions company Wintech Metal Processing Sdn Bhd, one of the participants at Expo 2025 Osaka in Japan, plans to expand its smart office portfolio with artificial intelligence (AI)-driven occupancy insights, advanced analytics, and customizable acoustic designs. Marketing director Dixon Loong emphasized that the future of work is all about adaptability. "We're building solutions that combine design, technology, and data while staying deeply human-centered," he stated in a recent announcement.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Wintech's presence at Pavilion Malaysia has showcased that the future of work transcends mere technology, emphasizing harmony between people, spaces, and the planet. Loong highlighted the importance of believing in one's capabilities and investing in showcasing unique attributes, noting that the world is constantly in search of fresh ideas, and Malaysia has much to offer.
Loong further elaborated that the company has positioned itself as not only a business success story but also as part of Malaysia's collective narrative at Expo 2025 Osaka. This narrative is about a nation weaving innovation, sustainability, and identity into a future shared with the world. The invitation from the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI) to join Pavilion Malaysia was a significant honor and milestone for Wintech.
Participation in Pavilion Malaysia allows Wintech to tell the story of Malaysian innovation to a global audience, Loong noted. He emphasized that Malaysia's small and medium enterprises are not just participants in global trade but are leaders shaping the future of work, sustainability, and design. During the expo, the company is displaying its WINPOD acoustic pods and smart office systems.
These pods, crafted with recyclable materials and natural finishes, provide quiet sanctuaries within noisy, fast-paced environments. "Many who experienced Wintech's pods at Pavilion Malaysia, including Pavilion staff, stakeholders, and partners, had a consistent and memorable reaction," said Loong.
These live experiences, along with business matching sessions supported by MITI, have provided Wintech valuable exposure to buyers, coworking operators, and government agencies interested in exploring similar solutions. While no deals have been finalized, Loong views these interactions as the beginning of meaningful collaborations and export opportunities.
