Luak johol: The Yayasan Undang Johol Education Fund has become a key driver of educational development in Luak Johol, Negeri Sembilan, particularly in assisting students from low-income families. Undang Luak Johol Datuk Johan Pahlawan Lela Perkasa Setiawan Datuk Muhammad Abdullah said the establishment of the fund would strengthen the foundation's capacity to provide more structured and effective support for students at all levels, including primary, secondary, and those pursuing higher education.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the fund was created to assist students from eligible B40 and M40 families, as well as individuals with special needs, in various areas of education, including those enrolled in tahfiz studies and religious school streams. Datuk Muhammad Abdullah expressed hope that efforts to enhance and improve the quality of education among the people of Luak Johol can be implemented effectively and bring real benefits to the target groups. He shared these insights with reporters after officiating the launch of the fund last night.
He also announced the establishment of a Strategic Education Committee for the 2024-2040 period as part of efforts to shape a more holistic Yayasan Undang Johol Education Policy. Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun, who was present at the event, stated that the state government fully supports the foundation's efforts in addressing education-related issues in the state.
Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun emphasized that with cooperation from various parties and strategic partners, the state government is confident that such initiatives will help students develop their potential and pursue higher education, whether locally or abroad.
