Year Of The Wood Snake 2025 Expected To Bring Abundance Of Joy, Positivity And Prosperity

Kuala Lumpur: The Year of the Wood Snake in 2025 marks the second year of a rare 180-year feng shui cycle, beginning on Jan 29, and is expected to usher in an abundance of joy, positivity, and prosperity.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Feng Shui master Kenny Hoo of Good Feng Shui Geomantic Research described 2025 as an "accumulation year," offering an opportunity to harness positive energies or "qi" (life force), encompassing prosperity, joy, and festivity. Hoo explained that the year of the wood element Snake, though perceived as unpredictable and uncertain compared to the Dragon, will bring festivity and prosperity.

Hoo highlighted that certain industries might enter a new and better phase, especially the wood-based industry, medical tourism, metals, real estate, creative sectors, and innovation and technology. This growth is likely to be further fueled by Malaysia's participation in BRICS last year, which solidified a new international order and promises an optimistic economic outlook for 2025.

The months of June, July, September, and October are anticipated to deliver a more positive impact, making them ideal times to start new ventures or make significant decisions. Conversely, February, May, August, and November may pose challenges, requiring individuals to maintain calmness, accumulate knowledge, and manage risks effectively.

Health-wise, Hoo advised strengthening immune systems, particularly in March, September, and December, to prevent illnesses. He also forecast growth in the real estate sector, especially in the northern and southern regions of Peninsular Malaysia, linked to high-tech industries.

Meanwhile, an online entrepreneur, Endrea, shared her tradition of creating DIY garlic decorations for Chinese New Year, believed to attract 'ong' (good fortune) in business. These decorations, consisting of 12 garlic bulbs painted in gold and wrapped in red organza fabric, symbolize financial management and good fortune. She emphasized the importance of timing in putting up these decorations, specifically between Jan 22 and 28, from 7 am to 11 am.

Her sister-in-law Ling Ling's Facebook page showcases various unique designs ordered for this Chinese New Year, offering a glimpse into the cultural practices followed by those adhering to Feng Shui traditions.
