Young People Encouraged to Save with Lembaga Tabung Haji for Early Haj Performance

Kuala lumpur: Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Dr Mohd Na'im Mokhtar has urged young people to plan their finances, save with Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH), and prioritise their health to perform the haj at an earlier age. He emphasized that consistent saving is crucial for fulfilling the fifth pillar of Islam when individuals are young and physically capable.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Dr Mohd Na'im Mokhtar highlighted the importance of being mindful of haj obligations and maintaining good health to be physically prepared for the pilgrimage. During the officiation of the TAHA Run 2025, he stressed the significance of starting consistent savings with TH immediately to ensure the ability to perform the haj while still strong and able.

The TAHA Run 2025, themed "Run for A Lifetime Journey," attracted over 1,000 participants aged 18 to 25. Organised by TH, the event featured three-kilometre and five-kilometre categories aimed at promoting awareness about the importance of saving and financial planning, alongside encouraging a healthier lifestyle.
