Kuala lumpur: Zetrix AI Bhd, formerly known as MY EG Services Bhd, has emerged as one of the most active stocks at mid-afternoon despite announcing the end of its foreign worker permit renewal services contract with the government. At 3.32 pm, the counter gained two sen to 85.5 sen with 55.35 million shares traded.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the company stated that the Malaysian Immigration Department has confirmed that foreign worker permit services are a module under the scope of the National Integrated Immigration System (NIISe) project. The project aims to integrate the border control system under various agencies of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Zetrix AI Bhd clarified that the company has an ongoing collaboration with Heitech Padu Bhd, which was awarded the project to implement NIISe, under a teaming agreement.
