According to BERNAMA News Agency, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs) Dr. Zulkifli Hasan is concentrating on ensuring that decisive and comprehensive follow-up actions are taken regarding the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) report on Tabung Haji (TH). This statement came after his appearance before the Parliamentary Public Accounts Committee (PAC).

He stressed the importance of these actions to maintain the trust of millions of depositors and to protect the sanctity of Islamic assets. Dr. Zulkifli stated that the primary focus at this stage is the completion of follow-up actions on the TH RCI Report in a firm and comprehensive manner.

Before attending the more than two-hour session, Dr. Zulkifli reviewed all pertinent documents, including the Tabung Haji Act and the RCI Report. He described his first appearance before the PAC as akin to a PhD viva voce, where various questions were posed by committee members.

Dr. Zulkifli expressed that his preparation allowed him to respond to the queries with calmness and confidence, attributing his ability to answer to divine will and permission.
