Kuala lumpur: This year's '1 House 1 Jalur Gemilang' campaign has been broadened to incorporate the health cluster, marking a new chapter in the initiative designed to invigorate the National Day celebrations under the theme 'Malaysia MADANI: Rakyat Disantuni.' Information Department (JAPEN) director-general Julina Johan announced this expansion, emphasizing the campaign's evolution since its inception in 2024 when it initially covered five clusters.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the health sector's inclusion aims to generate a more substantial impact. The campaign's launch for the health cluster took place at the ministry level, officiated by Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad, with the Cheras Rehabilitation Hospital (HRC) chosen as the initial site. This initiative is set to proceed to the Gombak Orang Asli Hospital and the Kuala Lumpur Health Clinic.
Julina Johan highlighted the campaign's objective of promoting the display of the Jalur Gemilang beyond government premises, encouraging participation from business premises, private homes, and local communities. She noted the collaboration with Kuala Lumpur City Hall and Putrajaya Corporation to effectively mobilize the campaign at the grassroots level.
She emphasized the importance of maintaining the flags in good condition and displaying them correctly as a mark of respect for the national emblem. Julina also mentioned the availability of an e-book on proper flag installation, intended to address common issues such as incorrect flag positioning. Additionally, the public is encouraged to consult the Ceremonial and International Conference Secretariat Division portal for comprehensive guidelines on flag hoisting procedures.
