Singapore: Abaxx Technologies Inc., a financial software and market infrastructure company, has announced its collaboration with Alta Alternative Investments Pte. Ltd. in Singapore to implement its Digital Title solution commercially. Abaxx, the majority shareholder of Abaxx Singapore Pte Ltd., which owns Abaxx Commodity Exchange and Clearinghouse, is set to integrate its innovative Digital Title with Alta, a leading brokerage, securities exchange, and fund management platform in Asia. This partnership aims to use money market fund shares as T+0 collateral for margin at Abaxx Clearing.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Abaxx successfully demonstrated in a December 2025 pilot that its Digital Title offers an enforceable mechanism to mobilize money market fund shares instantly as collateral. This ensures that the receiving party gains direct ownership of the underlying fund shares instantly upon a margin call, while the original holder continues to earn yield on the principal. This mechanism avoids potential insolvency gaps by transferring the legal title immediately rather than creating a pledged claim.
