Kuala lumpur: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi today conveyed his condolences to UMNO Youth chief Datuk Dr Akmal Saleh on the passing of his father. In a Facebook post, Ahmad Zahid described the death of 'Cikgu Saleh Lempah' on a Friday morning, the most blessed day of the week, as a profound loss.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Ahmad Zahid expressed his understanding of Dr Akmal's deep affection for his father. He highlighted that Cikgu Saleh was a significant source of inspiration and strength for his son in his leadership journey within the youth sector of Malaysia. Ahmad Zahid offered prayers for Saleh's soul, hoping it would be showered with mercy, forgiven of all sins, and placed among the righteous. He also prayed for strength and resilience for Dr Akmal and his family during this challenging time, emphasizing that a son's unwavering love will continue to accompany his father's soul through constant prayers and ongoing acts of charity.
In addition to his message to Dr Akmal, Ahmad Zahid also extended his condolences to the family of Kuala Langat UMNO division chief Rozana Kamarulzaman, who passed away at 1.47 am today. He described the passing of 'Ojane', as she was known, as a significant loss not only to her family but also to her comrades and grassroots members of the party. Ahmad Zahid expressed his prayers for the family's strength and patience in facing their loss and hoped that Rozana's soul would be placed among the righteous and granted paradise.
