Aidiladha Celebrations: State Leaders Encourage Muslims to Uphold Sacrifice and Unity

Kuala lumpur: Several state leaders have called on Muslims to reflect on the spirit of sacrifice, strengthen unity, and deepen sincerity in life in conjunction with tomorrow's Hari Raya Aidiladha celebration. According to BERNAMA News Agency, Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor has urged Muslims in the state to learn from the sacrifices of Prophet Ibrahim and Prophet Ismail in facing the challenges of daily life. He highlighted that such a spirit of sacrifice requires perseverance that begins within oneself, alongside lessons drawn from the life of Prophet Muhammad SAW, which continues to serve as a source of inspiration and strength in efforts to develop the state. Sabah's message was echoed by Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad, who emphasized that Aidiladha carries a deeper meaning beyond sacrifice, inspiring Muslims to continue giving, sharing, and making sacrifices for the well-being of family, community, the state, and the nation. He noted the importance of sincerity, inner streng th, and gratitude for every blessing bestowed, while urging people to strengthen bonds, forgive one another, and support those in need. Similarly, Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail affirmed that Aidiladha conveys the true meaning of sacrifice, reminding Muslims of their responsibilities to religion, family, and society. He expressed hopes that every sacrifice made would be accepted by Allah SWT, blessed, and serve as a symbol of sincerity, obedience, and love for one another. In Terengganu, Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar reiterated the significance of sacrifice as taught by the stories of Prophet Ibrahim and Prophet Ismail, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing the interests of the people for future stability. He acknowledged the challenges faced by the nation and encouraged the public to remain patient and united in building a better future. Melaka Chief Minister Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh underscored the profound meaning of Aidiladha through the story of Prophet I brahim and Prophet Ismail, symbolizing obedience to Allah SWT. He extended greetings on behalf of the Melaka state government and expressed hopes for the spirit of sacrifice to strengthen community relations and unite hearts in building a more loving and blessed ummah. Kelantan Menteri Besar Datuk Mohd Nassuruddin Daud addressed the various challenges and crises facing the world, urging Muslims to continue sacrificing energy, time, and wealth in defending the religion and leading a life pleasing to Allah SWT. He described Aidiladha as a madrasah tarbiah that teaches the meaning of sacrifice and submission and called on Muslims to stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people, highlighting their struggle as a true reflection of sacrifice.
