According to BERNAMA News Agency, the airline stated that unscheduled technical rectification work on several aircraft, ongoing scheduled maintenance, and operational and crew duty requirements have caused the disruptions. AirBorneo emphasized that safety remains its top priority, with aircraft requiring technical attention being withdrawn from service as a precaution until engineers are fully satisfied that they are fit to fly.

"With several aircraft undergoing maintenance and technical rectification concurrently, our operating fleet remains temporarily constrained," the airline mentioned. Consequently, passengers are advised to anticipate further schedule changes, cancellations, and delays over the coming days as aircraft are progressively returned to service.

Passengers traveling during this period are urged to check their flight status before heading to the airport to avoid inconvenience. The airline assured that its teams are working around the clock to minimize disruptions and re-accommodate affected passengers on the earliest available alternative flights.
