KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has announced an alert level warning for continuous rainfall expected to affect four states over a three-day period starting this Saturday.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, MetMalaysia director-general Dr. Mohd Hisham Mohd Anip specified that the states under the warning are Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, and Johor. The affected districts in Kelantan include Tumpat, Pasir Mas, Kota Bharu, Jeli, Tanah Merah, Bachok, Machang, Pasir Puteh, and Kuala Krai. The entire state of Terengganu is under the same warning, while in Pahang, the districts of Jerantut, Maran, Kuantan, Pekan, and Rompin are expected to experience continuous rain. In Johor, the warning covers Mersing and Kota Tinggi.
