Petaling jaya: The grand opening of the Alzheimer's Disease Foundation Malaysia (ADFM) Community Centre at Megah Rise Mall held on 4 September marked a milestone community initiative dedicated to supporting families impacted by Alzheimer's Disease and dementia. Organised by Alzheimer's Disease Foundation Malaysia (ADFM) and PPB Properties, the new community centre will serve as a safe and welcoming space for persons with dementia and Alzheimer's Disease, caregivers, and the public. Located at the Ground floor, the centre aims to allow the community to come together to learn, connect, and find support.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the community centre at Megah Rise Mall is part of a broader effort to raise awareness and provide resources during World Alzheimer Month activities. The initiative is designed to foster a better understanding of Alzheimer's Disease and dementia while offering practical support to those affected. It emphasizes the importance of community involvement and aims to enhance the quality of life for individuals and families dealing with these conditions.
