Bangkok: AM Best is set to play a significant role at the inaugural Thailand Reinsurance Conference, scheduled from 30 October to 1 November 2025 in Bangkok. Rob Curtis, the managing director and chief executive officer of AM Best's Singapore operations, will lead a session focused on the evolving market dynamics across Asia and Thailand, with particular attention to counterparty credit risk.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Curtis's session, titled 'The changing market development dynamics across Asia and Thailand,' will delve into various topics including risk and capital developments, rating scales, and factors influencing ratings such as balance sheet strength, operating performance, company profile, and enterprise risk management. The session is slated for 9 a.m. on Friday, 31 October. Curtis, who has been with AM Best since 2022, brings extensive experience from his previous roles with Hong Kong's Insurance Authority, KPMG, and the International Association of Insurance Supervisors.
