Kuala lumpur: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has extended Easter greetings to all Christians. In a Facebook post today, Anwar highlighted the significance of Easter, describing it as a celebration of resurrection that calls for the renewal of soul and conscience.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Anwar emphasized that in the face of various current challenges, the sacred celebration serves as a reminder that human values should not be eroded by differences. He urged that these values be nurtured as the foundation of civilization by embracing, including, and humanizing one another.

The Prime Minister expressed his hope that the Easter celebration would inspire hope, refine character, spread compassion, and strengthen resolve. He envisions it as a platform for building a compassionate, resilient, just, and magnanimous society.
