Ascend Airways Malaysia Secures CAAM Approval for Passenger Operations

Kuala lumpur: Ascend Airways Malaysia Sdn Bhd has secured approval from the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) to include passenger operations in its Air Operator Certificate (AOC). The approval includes its first passenger aircraft, the Boeing 737-800 (9M-ASG), in its Operations Specifications, marking a significant step forward towards commencing passenger operations. A total of three passenger aircraft (B737-800) are expected to be operating under aircraft, crew, maintenance, and insurance (ACMI) arrangements by the end of 2026.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, this achievement reflects the dedication, discipline, and collaboration of the entire team, alongside the close coordination and guidance of CAAM throughout the AOC variation process.
