Shenzhen: Professional mixed doubles pair Hoo Pang Ron-Lai Pei Jing continued their impressive run at the China Masters today, advancing to the semi-finals after defeating Taiwan's Liu Kuang Heng-Hsu Yin Hui.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the world number 85 pair overcame their opponents 24-22, 21-5 in straight games at the Shenzhen Arena, wrapping up the quarter-final clash in just 35 minutes.

Pang Ron-Pei Jing will face the winners of another quarter-final between China's Zhu Yi Jun-Li Qian and Taiwan's Wu Guan Xun-Lee Chia Hsin tomorrow.

It marks the Malaysian pair's first appearance in the semi-finals of a Super 750 tournament.
