Kuala lumpur: Citaglobal Bhd's wholly owned subsidiary, Citaglobal Land Sdn Bhd, has secured a design-and-build subcontract worth RM82.1 million to construct a residential college. Citaglobal announced that the unit received a letter of award dated August 20, 2026, from Purnama Base Sdn Bhd for the development of the college at Institut Pendidikan Guru (IPG) Kampus Bahasa Melayu in Lembah Pantai, Kuala Lumpur.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the IPG contract is set for a period of 22 months, scheduled for completion on June 30, 2028, or an adjusted date as specified in the contract terms. Citaglobal noted that the project is part of a government development initiative within the education sector, implemented through Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR).

Citaglobal further explained that JKR is the employer under the main contract, with Purnama Base acting as the main contractor under a main contract agreement with JKR dated December 30, 2025. Purnama Base has appointed Citaglobal Land as the subcontractor responsible for the design, construction, and completion of the works.

With the acceptance of this subcontract, Citaglobal's outstanding proforma order book stands at approximately RM1.5 billion as of June 30, 2026. The subcontract is anticipated to positively impact the group's earnings, earnings per share, and net assets over the duration of the contract period.
