Cloudera and Dell Technologies Unveil Integrated Private AI Platform for Enterprises

New york: Cloudera, known for bringing AI to data anywhere, has announced its integration with Dell ObjectScale. This development advances the AI-in-a-Box offering shared by the two companies, resulting in a comprehensive Private AI platform focused on scale, governance, and economic clarity. The collaboration enables joint customers to utilize a fully validated and integrated data platform, allowing Cloudera's compute engines to run directly against Dell Technologies ObjectScale storage. This announcement was made at the Cloudera EVOLVE25, Cloudera's premier data and AI event, held at the Glasshouse NYC.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, a significant challenge in enterprise AI success is the complexity surrounding data location and access. Cloudera's latest survey report, "The Evolution of AI: The State of Enterprise AI and Data Architecture," also released today, highlights that IT leaders employ various storage architectures. Specifically, 63% of respondents use private cloud, 52% use public cloud, and 42% rely on data warehouses. The report suggests that without securely and effectively managing all enterprise data, regardless of its form or location, organizations will struggle to apply AI to workloads and make strategic decisions.
