Continuous Rain Warning Issued For Three States From Jan 5


Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) today issued a Continuous Rain Warning (Alert) amid forecasts of prolonged rainfall affecting several states beginning next week.



According to BERNAMA News Agency, MetMalaysia stated that continuous rain is expected in Kelantan and Terengganu from January 5 to 8. The warning highlights the potential for significant rainfall over these areas, which could lead to disruptions and potential flooding.



The department further mentioned that prolonged rainfall is also forecast in several districts in Pahang, specifically in Cameron Highlands, Lipis, Jerantut, Maran, Kuantan, Pekan, and Rompin, from January 6 to 8. Residents in these areas are advised to stay informed of the weather updates and take necessary precautions to ensure safety and minimize any adverse impacts from the expected weather conditions.
