Kuala lumpur: The current political dynamics could lead to various political realignments, taking into account the unique political landscape of each state. Pakatan Harapan (PH) communications director Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil stated that recent political developments should not be viewed through a single lens, as each state has its own distinct political landscape and dynamics. According to BERNAMA News Agency, Fahmi emphasized the possibility of such dynamics emerging within Pakatan Harapan (PH), recognizing the political uniqueness of each state. He made these remarks while addressing reporters during the launch of the Kampung Angkat MADANI 2025 initiative by the Communications Ministry at Surau Kampung Tebat Kering, Kuala Pilah. The event was attended by notable figures including Communications Ministry secretary-general Datuk Abdul Halim Hamzah, Kuala Pilah District Council president Nawal Mohamed Amin, Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) deputy editor-in-chief (News Services) Mohd Shukri Ishak, an d other top management officials from the ministry's agencies. In a separate development, Fahmi addressed the decision to grant a conditional pardon to former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, highlighting that it falls under Article 42 of the Federal Constitution and is within the King's authority. Fahmi referenced statements issued by the government, including Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Hannah Yeoh, who represent the government on the Pardons Board. His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, granted a conditional pardon to Najib on Friday, allowing him to serve the remainder of his sentence under house arrest until August 23, 2028, contingent upon paying a RM50 million fine. The Legal Affairs Division of the Prime Minister's Department reported that this decision was made during the 64th meeting of the Pardons Board for the Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur, Labuan, and Putrajaya, held at Istana Negara.
