Accra:Dozoff has introduced Malaysia's first functional sleep and relaxation drink, Dozoff Shot. This new 50ml format offers consumers a convenient option for relaxation while on the go.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the launch comes amid ongoing concerns about sleep deprivation in Malaysia. A National Health and Morbidity Survey conducted by the Institute for Public Health, National Institutes of Health, Ministry of Health Malaysia, revealed that 38% of Malaysian adults do not get enough sleep, averaging less than seven hours in a 24-hour period.

Established in 2022, Dozoff has expanded significantly in Malaysia, with its products available in over 1,700 retail outlets and reaching more than 150,000 customers. The introduction of the Dozoff Shot enhances the brand's offerings with a compact, portable format aimed at providing convenience.

Dozoff emphasizes that the Dozoff Shot is centered around rest and relaxation and is not intended to treat insomnia or any medical conditions. Co-founder Chin Wui Khong highlighted that the drink was designed for "in-between moments" following work or a hectic day, addressing factors affecting sleep that occur earlier in the evening.

With each bottle containing 34.5 kilocalories and 1.8 grams of total sugar, the formulation includes ingredients like magnesium glycinate, L-theanine, valerian root, peach powder, and vitamin B6. Dozoff Shot is available online through platforms such as Shopee, TikTok Shop, Lazada, and the Dozoff official website, priced at RM7.90 per bottle or RM45.60 for a box of six bottles.

Additionally, Dozoff has made a smaller-scale entry into the Singapore market, extending its reach beyond Malaysia.
