Elderly Woman Grateful As Prayer To Become ‘Allah’s VVIP Guest’ Is Answered

Sungai besi: O Allah, make me Your VVIP guest.' For decades, Zalipah Md Alwi never stopped praying for the chance to set foot in the Holy Land. At 73, that prayer was finally answered when she arrived as a duyufurrahman (guest of Allah), an experience she described as the most special invitation from Allah. Zalipah, who is from Sungai Besi, Kuala Lumpur, said she never asked for her turn to be expedited or for any shortcuts, but only prayed that when the time came, she would be chosen as Allah's honoured guest.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Zalipah always prayed for the opportunity, expressing her belief that if Allah calls you, no matter how long it takes, you will eventually reach your destination. Throughout the wait, Zalipah faced various life trials, including postponing her plans to care for her ailing mother until her passing during the COVID-19 pandemic.

She and her husband were victims of a fraudulent umrah package in 2022, losing RM14,000. However, the ordeal never broke her faith, but instead taught her to remain patient and trust in Allah. She reflected on the situation by stating that people might wrong or cheat you, but Allah's provision is never misplaced, reinforcing her continuous prayer to be Allah's VVIP guest.

Upon arriving in Madinah, Zalipah could not hold back her tears as she felt her years of waiting and sacrifices had been rewarded, and her prayers had finally been answered.
