Kuala lumpur: EZVIZ has announced a significant expansion of its Green Initiative by forming a global partnership with Plastic Bank, a social fintech organization dedicated to reducing plastic waste. This collaboration, revealed in September, is a continuation of EZVIZ's commitment made on World Environment Day in June. The 'Together for Change, Bottle by Bottle' campaign aims to align long-term environmental goals with immediate actions to halt plastic pollution.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, EZVIZ is setting a target to fund the removal of 20,000 kilograms of plastic waste from the environment by 2025, which is equivalent to eliminating 1 million plastic bottles. This initiative is providing support to collectors in 29 communities across Southeast Asia, Latin America, and Africa. By utilizing Plastic Bank's circular economy model, local collectors can transform discarded plastic into valuable resources, thereby enhancing their livelihoods, building community resilience, and protecting the environment.
