FA Cup Showdown: NSFC Crush PDRM and Kelantan TRW Overcome KL City

Paroi: Negeri Sembilan FC (NSFC) are likely to advance to the quarterfinal stage of the 2025 FA Cup after they beat PDRM FC 5-0 in the first leg of the Round of 16 at Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium in Paroi tonight. According to BERNAMA News Agency, NSFC demonstrated their control early in the match by scoring in the first minute through a free kick by Jovan Motika from outside the penalty box. The match turned in favor of NSFC when PDRM FC were reduced to 10 men after Agbre Noel received a red card for a foul on Joseph Esso in the ninth minute. Despite the numerical advantage, NSFC had to wait until nearly the end of the first half to score their second goal, again by Motika in the 40th minute, followed by a third from Esso just before the halftime whistle. PDRM FC struggled to penetrate NSFC's defense in the second half, and the home team extended their lead with ease. Substitute Mio Tsuneyasu scored the fourth goal in the 76th minute, and Esso sealed the emphatic victory with a fifth goal three minutes lat er. In another match, Kelantan The Real Warriors (TRW) secured a 3-1 victory against Kuala Lumpur (KL) City FC at Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium in Kota Bharu. Kelantan TRW capitalized on their home ground advantage, with Ifedayo Omosuyi scoring in the fifth minute and adding a second goal just 12 minutes later. Sean Selvaraj increased the lead to 3-0 in the 65th minute, while KL City managed a consolation goal in the 86th minute through Syamer Kutty Abba. The second leg match will be played from September 12 to 14.
