Malaysia: Malaysia's independence is the result of the sacrifices and struggles of past generations, whose legacy must be cherished and carried forward, Communications Minister Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil said. He emphasized the importance of unity and patriotism as the nation approaches its National Day and Malaysia Day celebrations.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Fahmi urged Malaysians, regardless of race, religion, culture, or background, to continue strengthening unity, fostering mutual respect, and safeguarding the harmony that underpins the nation's strength. He highlighted the need for a spirit of togetherness and shared responsibility to build a more inclusive, prosperous, peaceful, and harmonious Malaysia for all.

Reflecting this year's theme, 'Malaysia MADANI: Kesejahteraan Dinikmati,' Fahmi stressed that the country's progress and prosperity should be a shared responsibility, ensuring that the benefits of development reach all Malaysians. He also expressed hope that Malaysia would continue to progress as a united nation and command respect on the global stage.

Fahmi concluded his message with a call to ignite the spirit of patriotism, wishing everyone a happy National Day and Malaysia Day.
