Kuala lumpur: The sister of the Sultan of Pahang, Tengku Puteri Seri Kemala Tengku Datuk Seri Aishah Almarhum Sultan Ahmad Shah, passed away at 9.15 pm at a hospital in Kuala Lumpur.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Comptroller of the Royal Household of the Sultan of Pahang, Major General Datuk Mohamed Zahari Yahya, stated that the body of the deceased would be taken to the Pahang Royal Mausoleum, Pekan, tomorrow (August 27) to be buried with full honours and ceremonies.

He remarked that the passing of Tengku Aishah is a significant loss to the Pahang Royal Family, particularly to the Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, and Tengku Ampuan Pahang, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah.

In a media statement released tonight, Major General Datuk Mohamed Zahari Yahya expressed his prayers for the deceased, hoping for divine blessings upon her soul, forgiveness for her sins, and that her soul be placed among the righteous in heaven. He urged everyone to pray for her soul to be with the righteous.
