Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened mixed on Thursday.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, at 9:37 am, the December 2026 contract added one point to 1,738.0, while March 2027 was 1.5 points higher at 1,722.0. In contrast, the August 2026 contract slid 1.5 points to 1,749.5, and September 2026 edged up 0.5 of-a-point to 1,736.0.

Turnover for the futures contracts was recorded at 4,684, with open interest totaling 67,878 contracts. At 9:57 am, the FBM KLCI inched up by 0.33 of-a-point to 1,748.87 from the previous day's close of 1,748.54.
