Kuala lumpur: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has conveyed his condolences to Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and the Pahang Royal Family over the passing of the Sultan's elder sister, Tengku Puteri Seri Kemala Tengku Datuk Seri Aishah Almarhum Sultan Ahmad Shah, yesterday.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, in a Facebook post, Anwar prayed that Allah SWT would shower His mercy upon Tengku Datuk Seri Aishah's soul, forgive her sins and place her among the righteous. He also prayed that Allah SWT would grant Al-Sultan Abdullah, Tengku Ampuan of Pahang Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah, and the entire Pahang Royal Family strength and fortitude in coping with the loss.

Tengku Datuk Seri Aishah passed away at a hospital in Kuala Lumpur at 9.15 pm yesterday, and her remains will be laid to rest at the Pahang Royal Mausoleum in Pekan today.
