Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended mostly higher today, tracking the performance of the underlying cash market.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, at the close, the spot-month August 2025 increased by 10 points to 1,604. Both September 2025 and December 2025 added 10.5 points each to reach 1,582.5, while March 2026 rose by 6.5 points to 1,564.5.
Turnover saw an increase, rising to 7,050 lots from 6,421 lots recorded on Thursday. Open interest also grew, reaching 45,470 contracts compared to 45,312 contracts previously.
By 5 pm, the FBM KLCI climbed 4.60 points, or 0.29 percent, to settle at 1,597.47, up from Thursday's closing figure of 1,592.87.
