Kuala Lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher on Tuesday.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, January 2025 saw an increase of 10.0 points, closing at 1,572.5. February's contract advanced by 10.5 points, reaching 1,576.5. The March 2025 contract climbed 11.5 points, settling at 1,559.5, while June 2025 rose by 11.0 points to end at 1,568.0.

Turnover expanded to 12,457 lots from the previous day's 9,319 lots. Meanwhile, open interest also advanced, rising to 46,922 contracts from 43,194 recorded previously.

At the close of trading at 5 pm, the FBM KLCI gained 8.12 points to settle at 1,580.46, up from the previous day's close of 1,572.34.
