Kuala lumpur: FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures were higher in early trade on Wednesday.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, at 9.40 am, the October 2025 contract rose 11.0 points to 1,623.5. The November 2025 and March 2026 contracts added 10.5 points to 1,623.0 and 1,602.0, respectively, while the December 2025 contract increased by 9.0 points to 1,619.0.

Turnover totalled 1,788 lots, with open interest at 43,185 contracts. The benchmark FBM KLCI was up 7.31 points to 1,618.77 after 46 minutes of trading, compared with Tuesday's close of 1,611.46.
