Jempol: FELCRA Berhad has denied any association with the discovery of barrels filled with chemicals near the Ayer Hitam Felcra Plantation in Negeri Sembilan. FELCRA stated that the location where the barrels were found was private land and not under its supervision.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the discovery was made during a routine patrol on April 14, and immediate action was taken by reporting to the police for further investigation. FELCRA assured its full cooperation with the authorities, including the Department of Environment (DOE), and urged all parties to refrain from speculation until the investigation is completed.

Local media outlets had previously reported the discovery of 26 barrels filled with chemical waste in the area.
