Fortegra: The Fortegra Group Inc (Fortegra), a global specialty insurer and part of DB Insurance Co Ltd, has announced the appointment of Mark Rattner as President. Rattner, who has been with Fortegra for a decade, previously held the positions of Executive Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer, Insurance.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Fortegra stated that Rattner's appointment is a strategic move to bolster the company's investment in personnel and partnerships that drive long-term growth and profitability. Rick Kahlbaugh, Fortegra's Chairman and CEO, emphasized Rattner's significant contributions to the company's evolution, noting his deep industry expertise and leadership skills as pivotal to Fortegra's success.

Rattner brings over thirty years of experience in underwriting and the insurance industry to his new role. He joined Fortegra in September 2016 after a five-year tenure at Houston International Insurance Group, where he was instrumental in establishing the company's professional liability division as Senior Vice President. Additionally, Rattner has served as Chairman and CEO of Terrapin Capital Holdings and was the owner and director of Rattner Mackenzie Limited.

For over 45 years, Fortegra has been offering a range of risk management solutions through its subsidiaries, including a variety of admitted and excess and surplus lines insurance products and warranties.
