Kuala lumpur: All 23 Malaysians participating in the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) mission are scheduled to arrive home tomorrow night. Sumud Nusantara Command Centre (SNCC) director-general Datuk Dr Sani Araby Abdul Alim Araby said they will land at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1 at 9.45 pm.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the SNCC has invited supporters and media to a welcome event for the activists. The activists were detained by Zionist regime forces last Thursday after their ships were intercepted in the Red Zone waters of the Mediterranean Sea and taken to the port of Ashdod, Israel. They were released from Israeli custody and departed from Ramon Airport in Israel, arriving in Istanbul last night.

The detained Malaysians included singer Heliza Helmi, her sister Nur Hazwani Afiqah, and several others such as Farah Lee, Danish Nazran Murad, and Zizi Kirana. They were aboard various ships, including 'Hio', 'Grande Blu', and 'Huga'. Other notable detainees were influencers and public figures like Ardell Aryana and PU Rahmat.

The group was part of a mission to deliver aid and support, and their safe return has been a topic of interest within Malaysia. The SNCC has emphasized that the homecoming event will honor these individuals for their participation in the mission.
