Kuala lumpur: House of Mind Excellence (HOME) Maths Therapy was named the winner of the Best Franchise Award at the Malaysia Franchise Awards (MFA) 2025 held here tonight, retaining the recognition for the second consecutive year. The mathematics learning centre also received awards for Best Franchisor, Best Single-Unit Franchisee, Best Multi-Unit Franchisee, Best Franchise Innovation, Best Corporate Social Responsibility, and Best Franchise Governance.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the prestigious awards ceremony was officiated by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, who is also Minister of Rural and Regional Development. In his speech, Ahmad Zahid extended his congratulations to all award recipients for their success and contributions in strengthening the national franchise industry. He highlighted Malaysia's achievement of having over 2,060 registered franchise businesses under the Registrar of Franchise (RoF), attributing this growth to innovation and industry professionalism.

Ahmad Zahid emphasized that the event marked not just the end of a successful year for the franchise sector but also reaffirmed the belief that Malaysian brands are prepared to excel on the global stage. The ceremony was attended by Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi, Deputy Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Datuk Seri R. Ramanan, and Malaysian Franchise Association chairman Datuk Dr Radzali Hassan.

The event also featured the exchange of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Malaysian Franchise Association and SME Bank, aimed at bolstering the development of small and medium enterprises in Malaysia. In a statement, Radzali mentioned that this collaboration would strengthen the franchise ecosystem through joint programmes and initiatives, supporting the industry with expertise, financing, and global market promotion.
