Hong Kong Secures Exclusive Hosting Rights for LEAP East Tech Expo from 2027 to 2029

Kuala lumpur: LEAP East, the Middle East's flagship technology exhibition, made its Asian debut in Hong Kong over three days from 8 to 10 July, drawing more than 25,000 participants. Of these participants, 55% were non-local while 45% were local. The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) has successfully partnered with the organiser to secure the city as the exclusive Asian host of LEAP East from 2027 to 2029.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, HKTB Chairman Dr. Peter Lam expressed his delight at the strategic partnership with the organiser, emphasizing that securing Hong Kong as the exclusive Asian host city for LEAP East for the next three years is a testament to the global industry's confidence in Hong Kong. Dr. Lam highlighted Hong Kong's status as a global meeting place and a hub for innovation and technology, further solidifying its role as a 'super-connector' and 'super value-adder'. The event aims to bring together technology and innovation enterprises, investors, research institutions, and innovative talents from around the world, fostering collaboration across regions and industries.
