Bangkok: Informa Markets, alongside government bodies and international organizations, has officially opened ProPak Asia 2025, marking the start of the most influential exhibition in the region for processing and packaging technology. The event is expected to generate over THB 5.5 billion in trade value and business deals, reinforcing its status as a pivotal platform for industrial development and regional cooperation.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Mr. Fukuyai Iino (Ph.D., MBA), the UNIDO Representative from the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) for the subregion, highlighted the organization's commitment to promoting and accelerating sustainable industrial development in developing countries and economies in transition. As a specialized agency of the United Nations, UNIDO collaborates with governments, the private sector, and other organizations to offer technical assistance, capacity building, technology transfer, and infrastructure development crucial for industrial growth. The ongoing partnership with ProPak Asia has significantly contributed to advancing innovation and sustainable development in processing, packaging, and the food value chain.
