Johor bahru: The flood situation in Johor has fully recovered following the closure of the last temporary relief centre (PPS) in the Segamat district at 2 pm today. State Disaster Management Committee (JPBN) chairman Datuk Asman Shah Abd Rahman announced that the relief centre at the Kampung Batu Badak community hall, which had been operating since December 28, was officially closed after all evacuees were allowed to return to their homes.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, as of this morning, the centre was housing 25 flood evacuees from eight families. Previously, flooding in Johor, particularly in the Segamat district, had affected several areas, including Jementah, Buloh Kasap, Tenang, and Pemanis.
