Kuala lumpur: The Bukit Aman Internal Security and Public Order Department (KDNKA) recorded a total of RM7.1 billion in seizures through various operations conducted up to November 30. The department's director, Datuk Seri Azmi Abu Kassim, highlighted the extensive efforts that led to this achievement, mentioning that 3,900 operations were executed, resulting in the detention of 9,800 individuals.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Datuk Seri Azmi Abu Kassim expressed confidence that the success achieved this year could be replicated in 2026 and beyond. He emphasized the department's role as a cornerstone of the country's achievements during a special assembly at the Air Operations Force Subang Base. Stressing the importance of continuous cooperation among personnel and leadership, Azmi noted that maintaining these achievements requires collective effort, which benefits both the team and the community.
Azmi reiterated the foundational role of public safety and order in the department's existence. He urged officers not to become complacent with safety and order protocols, underscoring this as a core responsibility. Furthermore, he cited the department's effective management of security and traffic for significant events, such as the ASEAN Summit and the official visit of China's President Xi Jinping to Malaysia, as evidence of their capability.
In addition, Azmi mentioned the department's recent involvement in assisting the Sabah contingent with the state election, which proceeded smoothly due to meticulous planning and execution.
