Kota Bharu: The Kelantan government has set rental rates for Ramadan bazaar sites in the state, starting from RM200, depending on the respective district.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, State Youth, Sports, Non-Governmental Organisations and Community Unity Committee chairman Zamakhshari Muhamad detailed the rental rates for various district councils. The Kuala Krai District Council will charge RM500, while the Pasir Puteh District Council has set rates at RM450 in Selising and RM550 in Bandar Pasir Puteh. The Machang District Council will charge RM400, and the Pasir Mas District Council has set its rate at RM350.
In Tanah Merah, the District Council charges between RM350 and RM450. The Ketereh and Bachok District Councils have both set rates at RM300. The Gua Musang and Tumpat District Councils have set their rates at RM250, while the Jeli and Dabong District Councils have the lowest rate at RM200 each.
In Kota Bharu, the state government has designated five specific Ramadan bazaars with varying rental rates. These include Padang Tembak at RM370, the Kubang Kerian night market at RM580, Taman Bendahara night market at RM400, Tok Kenali Binjai at RM570, and the Pasir Tumboh night market also at RM570.
