Johor bahru: His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, and Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah, Queen of Malaysia, today paid a visit to the grave of their late son, Tunku Laksamana Johor Tunku Abdul Jalil, at the Mahmoodiah Royal Mausoleum in Johor.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the visit by Their Majesties was in conjunction with the birth anniversary of Tunku Abdul Jalil, which falls on July 5. The royal couple shared the moment on Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar's official Facebook page.

Their Majesties were accompanied by Tunku Panglima Johor Tunku Abdul Rahman Al-Haj Ibni Sultan Ibrahim during the visit. Tunku Abdul Jalil passed away at Hospital Sultanah Aminah in Johor Bahru on December 5, 2015, at the age of 25, after a battle with liver cancer.
