Kuala lumpur: The Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW) is targeting sales transactions of up to RM209 million through the Karnival Usahawan Desa (KUD) @ Karnival Mega 3 Dimensi (MK3D) 2025, to be held over five days beginning July 30. The programme, which brings together rural entrepreneurs from across the country, will feature cash sales, financing opportunities, business matching sessions, and bookings aimed at boosting the rural economic ecosystem. According to BERNAMA News Agency, KKDW stated that MK3D 2025 will be held at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is scheduled to officiate the event on August 2, accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi. 'The event, which will take place from 10 am to 10 pm, is expected to attract up to two million visitors,' said the ministry. A total of 50,000 coupons worth RM250,000 will be given away to visitors as part of efforts to boost sales and s upport rural entrepreneurs' products. The mega programme also involves 10 agencies under KKDW, including Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA), FELCRA Bhd, the Rubber Industry Smallholders Development Authority (RISDA), the Community Development Department (KEMAS), and the Department of Orang Asli Development (JAKOA). The programme targets both the general public and rural entrepreneurs who have received guidance or require assistance to further improve their business productivity.
